"Renewal" is the artist's living chronicle of recovery from disability. Isolation and shame brought on by a mobility disability are combined with a sense of optimism and wonder at the ability of the body to renew and recover. Road trips and plein air painting in favorite accessible settings are part of this chronicle, with the artist and her husband Ted Weinberg creating a few collaborative paintings, signifying enduring commitment despite health and mobility challenges.
