Wisdom of the Rooted

This larger work reflects on forest bathing and the nurturing mystery of the earth. The dynamic color medleys and sinous lines affirm recovery and resourcefulness.
 
The anthropomorphic character of this abstract form expresses aspiration for rootedness and land sovereignty, evoking nature spirituality,  desolation from colonial land conflicts, and the sharing culture of immigrants bringing traditional food and spiritual paradigms.
 
"Wisdom of the Rooted" has been widely exhibited and published, with inclusion in the International Human Rights Art Movement 2024 Quarter 4 edition: "Indigenous Voices".
