TRANSIENT DREAMING

Inspired by the transient killer whales who often visit the Puget Sound, these paintings serve as reminder of the evanescence of nature and the importance of protecting the Puget Sound and the habitats of these beloved visitors.

These paintings also convey a wistfulness for the inherent democracy and unburdened transience of the wild and the contrived hubris of permanence, while infusing Pacific Northwest landscapes with fantastic color and whimsy.

These paintings are acrylic on canvas and range in size from 24 x 30 inches to 8 x 8 inches.
