La Conner is a small town along the Swinomish Channel in the northwest region of Washington State. The town is famous for its artists and its waterfront district. I believe I created this drawing while sitting at the end of a public dock in the middle of town.

The rainbow-shaped bridge just south of town connects La Conner to the Swinomish Reservation. From time to time I'll stop by La Conner on my way to and from the San Juan Islands. It's a great place to stop for dinner and browse.
