I spent many a summer day in my teens lifeguarding at this public beach on the north end of Mercer Island. One can see interstate 90 crossing from Mercer Island to Bellevue in the distance, along with the 5 white arches that will hold up the wires for the new light rail, scheduled to open in 2023.
